How do the Republicans propose to pay for it? We know what the Democrat plan is.
This is how you begin negotiations: We want to cut overall government spending by 10% for each of the next ten years. We call it the Ten-Ten Plan for Freedom and Prosperity.
> And I cannot perceive any scenario where it benefited the party. <
It’s possible that the GOP was given an ultimatum: Play ball with us or we’ll simply abolish the filibuster. Then we’ll do whatever we damn well please.
If that’s the case, it would be nice if some GOP senator would let us know.
uniparty in action - all kabuki to give the appearance of two sides but they are one and the same.... spend, spend, spend and cash in
Why bother voting for these SOB’s.
A trillion dollars greases a lot of palms. It seems the only thing the GOP want is to keep the corporate tax cuts. As long as their owners are happy they will sign-on.
Could it be that they only mean real infrastructure spending and not left-wing giveaways which have nothing to do with infrastructure? That’s probably wishful thinking.
What a bunch of pansies, they should have offered NOTHING and Went Home for the Year.
STOP SPENDING!
The French-army-trained GOP is at it again...
Magnificent surrender monkeys...
KTA!
A Real Republican would be conservative and not spend what we don’t have.
************
What do Republicans ever do to shrink the size and growth of government?
Real Republicans would be fighting relentlessly for conservative principles, maximum liberties, and smaller government, but they don’t. The GOP is a fake party.
The only reason anyone votes for them is that they are the lesser of two evils. If there was a real party for conservatives nobody would have any reasons to vote GOP at all.
So true.
Think back to Trump’s tax cuts when the rino mantra was BUDGET NEUTRAL! BUDGET NEUTRAL! Will one of our rinos explain how this is budget neutral.
