It says he was a high school drop with a job and started dating a 14 year old, in your words a freshman. The “Remo” clause doesn’t apply because the girl was 14. You have to be at 16-17 for your Romeo clause to kick in.

I thought the Romeo and Juliette laws were about HS aged kids with a different of 4 years or less in their ages?
But I’m wrong.

In any case:

“In Florida, it is illegal for a person age 18 or older to have sex with someone under the age of 18, even if the sex is consensual.”

So there it is. It’s rape. Burn him.
