I agree with you on all points. By design, patriotic Americans are now outnumbered and are (increasingly forcefully) being pushed further to the margins. This country will not restore its former greatness simply because the emergent majority doesn’t want it.

The only way to recapture some semblance of greatness is to somehow divide the country. Its days as a strong, vibrant 50-state entity are over. We had a great run, but it’s time to face reality.

Yes, I agree and predict we will see the rise of state sovereignty movements that reflect a growing sense of distrust and lack of confidence in what has become an overbearing national government.

Local solutions are needed for local problems, not one-size-fits-all wasteful programs that drive up taxes, increase bureaucratic power, and further divide us. Our national politics has exacerbated the problems and become so toxic that many people have simply tuned it out. Can’t blame them.

The old system is broken, dysfunctional and hopelessly corrupt. State “laboratories” can devise more creative, practical, cost effective and responsive solutions. And there’s a better chance of imposing some accountability when there aren’t innumerable layers of bureaucracy that cover up for ineptitude and graft.

In short we need to get back to the vision of the Founders who respected the wisdom and practicality of state sovereignty.
