"No one ever questioned their marriage or the age at which they married."

My father was born in 1904 in Holland. My mother was born in 1920 in Canada. My Dad came to this country with his parents, and two brothers in 1912 when he was 8. My mother was maybe 3 or 4 when she, her brother, and their mother came to America. I believe my parents met because my grandmother rented rooms, or part of her house to my father, and his two brothers. My father was working on the NY Central Railroad as a laborer by that time. The day after my mother turned 16, in 1936, she and my father married. He was 32 years of age. My Grandmother loved my father, and knew he would take care of her only daughter. Their first child, a daughter, was born in 1940. The second daughter was born in 1942. My brother was born in 1944, and I was born in 1947. They had a good marriage. My mother always wished that they could have made it to 50 years. My father passed in 1978 at the age of 73. My mother passed in 1990 at the age of 69.

I never knew any of my grandparents. They'd all passed by the time I was born, and I always felt like I'd missed a lot by not knowing them. All my siblings are gone, so I'm the last one of my family.

THIS IS NOT WORTH DISCUSSING.

The GOPe *wants* it discussed. They want conversation to focus on something, ANYTHING other than erasing Cheney.

It’s personal. It’s not a discussion. She must be erased. Whatever it takes. Just forget this guy. He can try another time. Right now all that is needed is some squeaky clean someone to erase Cheney.

It’s about her removal. It’s not about ANYTHING else.

That sounds like a wonderful family history! Perhaps you should write it down for future generations and to preserve the memories.

Best to you mass55th.
