The average IQ of Haitians is 67. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world. I have rarely encountered people with less ambition and moxie than Haitians. A few of them have bucked the trend and become teachers or nurses, but they are the rarity. Here is a picture of the same island, home of 2 separate countries, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. You can immediately see which country heedlessly harvested their trees and other natural riches in an unsustainable way, leaving unproductive desert behind:

When large numbers of Haitian immigrants first started showing up in south Florida in the 1970s, their politics were actually about 50-50 Republican to Democrat.
A lot of them would refuse to fraternize with Black Americans at work because the Haitians perceived native born Blacks as lazy and angry.
Unfortunately, after acclimating to the USA for 50 years, about 80% of Haitians are now Democrats.
