Ron DeSantis Hits Bush’s Amnesty Coalition: GOP Must Reject Open Borders
Breitbart ^ | 22 May 2021 | JOHN BINDER

Posted on 05/23/2021 7:03:16 AM PDT by Hojczyk

During the keynote speech at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner in Pennsylvania, DeSantis rebuked recent amnesty suggestions by Republican lawmakers and Bush’s amnesty coalition. DeSantis said:

There’s a lot of talk about unity or disunity in the Republican Party, this person, that person … I will tell you this, as we look forward to the fights ahead, we cannot — indeed we will not — go back to the days of the failed Republican establishment of yesteryear.

We are not going to do that. We have to reject open borders, we have to stand for the rule of law and American sovereignty. And we cannot be for amnesty in any form. We’ve got to stand with the American people and we have to put Americans first. [Emphasis added]

DeSantis’s remarks come after months of Bush’s lobbying Republican lawmakers to help President Joe Biden’s administration pass amnesty for the roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States.

The lobbying has been in coalition with corporate interests such as the Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the

Business Roundtable, the Bloomberg-funded New American Economy, the Texas Association of Business, and taxpayer-funded refugee contractors.

Bush’s plan is merely a revitalization of his highly unpopular “Any Willing Worker” policy from the early 2000s, where his administration sought to open the nation’s borders to millions of illegal aliens willing to take low-wage jobs from Americans while increasing legal immigration to drive down U.S. wages in the labor market.

Bush League Republicans have spent thirty years importing a permanent Democrats majority.
Now they want to amnesty them to make them legal.

Assisting the Democrats has been the primary purpose of TransRepublicans since GHW Bush.

The Bush Family is a major disappointment.

GW wrote my son a congratulatory letter when he earned his Eagle, before the BSA went queer and woke. However, the other option was a letter from Obama, who, as I recall, refused to write those kind of letters.

That being said, GW is a major disappointment.

“We have to reject open borders, we have to stand for the rule of law and American sovereignty. And we cannot be for amnesty in any form. We’ve got to stand with the American people and we have to put Americans first.”

Putting Americans first will also include an end to the mass legal immigration that suppresses American salaries.

Marco Rubio will be tested next year against Stephanie Murphy. I actually hope he wins. Sorry but Murphy would be far far worse. I know most don’t believe it but Floridians do.

You will be voting for amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority because that is what Micro Rubio has as his top priority.

Rubio needs to be primaried out and replaced with a MAGA candidate.

And while you’re at it -

The Deplorables want a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.

The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.

Says President-elect-to-be DeSantis.

The only question? Who will be the DeSantis Veep selection?

There doesn't appear to be a single leftist agenda that Governor DeSantis isn't afraid to confront head-on. God bless the man.

We need good people with both strength and character if we are to have any hope of setting the American ship of state back on its proper course.

You know that is not happening, Joe. You need a plan B because the GOP will never reject open borders. Nor will they [the GOP] reject dependence on Communists China for all our manufactured goods. That was why the Republican Party collaborated with the Democrat Party to steal the 2020 election and kick President Trump out of Office and install the Thief and Ho.
