I don't care for what this guy did. However, it seems a little harsh for statutory rape. Maybe it is partly because he pled not guilty. He was an all-star and now his career may be over. He was convicted of all those counts and may be prosecuted in other states. It seems like just one encounter with this girl and sending her emails or whatever.

Once again meat, you are a meathead. Girls got married at 13 before modern times. Have you seen some 13 year olds ? They could easily pass for 18. I have known 13 year olds who knew more about men than they did about U. S. History. Where were her parents? Why was she allowed to hang out with this guy? Who does that to a 13 year old? I had a couple of daughters and I would not let then be alone with a adult male for any reason. But locking him up in a cage when there were alot more extenuating circumstances is a meathead thing to say. Bottom line is the guy didnt abduct and rape her.

I should have figured people here would think he should be lynched or whatever. I thought he just met some girl and didn’t ask how old she was. Who would send a picture like that to anyone much less a young girl?

I guess he can use some of his money to pay off the prison gangs so he doesn’t get beat up, etc. too badly.

We do live in modern times and must abide by current laws and among those laws is that adults cannot rape 13 year old children.
