Whatever the "alien abduction" of humans is, there is one common element in almost all cases (except for those determined to have been hoaxes). They all focus on the procurement of human eggs and sperm for the development of hybrids.

My take is that its because Because people are filled with movies and books and tabloid papers etc that are based on this theme. They may brush off what they read as fiction, but subconsciously it resurfaces during sleep and dreams either out of suppressed fear, anxiety, or whatever
