If Trump knew, in January, 2016, what he knows to day, things would have been much different, to be sure.
But, he did not. The closest to being prescient on this, and he did warn President Trump, was Rush Limbaugh.
Trump's biggest mistake was assuming his opponents wanted to do what is best for the United States.
They don't. They hate the United States. They hate us. It has been exposed for all to see.
If Trump had chosen an aggressive AG, who worked with him as much as Eric Holder did with Obama, yes things would have been much, much different.
JFK chose an "aggressive AG." Within eight years, both JFK and his AG were shot dead.
“If Trump had chosen an aggressive AG”
I’m not sure what Trump could have done. Sessions was an excellent Senator and totally BUCKED the GOP by giving Trump a comprehensive platform on immigration...and yes, it everything Trump, and most of us, wanted on immigration, wall, chain migration, everything.
Sessions really seemed to be on Trump’s side...now I’m thinking it was all a ruse to get that job. But again, what was Trump to do, given how much Sessions helped him in the campaign?
an agressive AG that would have worked with him would never have gotten thru the senate. lets face facts, all the gope hate him and us
That type of AG could never, ever have gotten confirmed.
