Gov. Phil Murphy will announce Monday that New Jersey will lift its indoor mask mandate for fully vaccinated people and follow recent federal guidance in time for Memorial Day weekend as COVID-19 numbers keep declining while vaccinations continue, NJ Advance Media has learned.
The new rules, which follow updated advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will go into effect a week from today, May 28, meaning vaccinated people are permitted to enter restaurants and stores in the Garden State without face coverings for the first time in 14 months, multiple sources with knowledge of the plan told NJ Advance Media.
The move is a reversal for Murphy, who for days stood firm that New Jersey would not ease its indoor mask mandate — at least not immediately — despite the CDC

LOL, what a perfect skeeve this guy is! Like the rest of the slime on the Left they seem to have zero self awareness and care nothing about how they are seen by others.
I guess his hesitation was met with LOTS of pushback.
His focus groups of independents and liberals with half of a working brain were telling those running the focus groups,

It appears to be based on holidays and not the science, so check back on July 4th and Labor Day for masks to be “recommended” but not required for even the unvaccinated.
“I’ve been hanging my hat on Memorial Day since December,” Murphy said Wednesday, “so watch that space.”

CDC guidelines are as much BS as any of Murphy’s commands.
