Flying with American Airlines? Get your vaccine card ready.
On Thursday, the Fort Worth-based carrier announced that it’s adding a vaccine passport capability to its health passport mobile app, Verifly. Flyers can now securely upload their CDC vaccination card before a trip, which will then be verified and processed before departure.
Verifly is an independent mobile app that American has deployed since November 2020 to streamline the check-in and document verification process before departure, including international entry requirements, COVID-19 tests and now vaccines. It can be downloaded for free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

These vaccines all use aborted cell lines in some capacity. They are immoral.
Do you have your papers in order for travel comrade?
“American” needs to change their name to “North Korea Airlines”.
Novavax, not available quite yet, doesn’t.
Vaccine registration-—gun registration-—etc......

I just wanna thank Deep State and their airline industry cronies for continuing to give me great reasons never to fly again.
You guys are saving me a bleep load of money to boot!
Nobody hiding it anymore, The NYS app for the covid passport is called "Excelsior Pass"
I travel a ton for work. Fortunately it’s almost all by road. Looks like that’s going to continue to be the case.
Per the article, there's no way to "verify" that someone's vaccination id / the CDC card isn't fraudulent.
In fact, details on what the verification process would look like were essentially answered with "let me circle back with you."
In any case, I've never liked American Airlines anyway (they've lost my luggage, I've missed connecting flights because of them ...) and am not very likely to ever fly with them again anyway.
Yeah, I don’t see how post-development testing is a property of the product. It’s separate. It’s like saying guns are immoral because someone used them immorally.
Wow that’s surprising, considering that they’re flying illegals all across the nation in their planes jampacked with invaders who have not taken the vaccine. We need to sue the hell out of the airlines! They are risking American lives inside their little flying time bomb cans. UGH!! Freaking Republicans at the hill are not even raising Cane about that! They are pouring them on Houston and we know what that is all about. Right? So where the hell is the governor why isn’t he raising a stink about it. And why isn’t he cautioning the airlines about the medical dangers of flying illegals in their flying cans. I’m so disappointed in Abbott!!
I assume it’s a very small percentage of people that do not have smartphones. I’m one of them and have no plans to get a smartphone, hopefully ever. Not that I want to fly American airlines, or any airline in the foreseeable future.
Actually it is saying using murdered innocent people to develop ingestible substances for the users health is ok.
Agree, American is a member of the communist/Borg, they should change their name to that.
Those are not mutually exclusive points of view.
My position:
1) The vaccine product itself is moral because it was not developed using an immoral practice.
2) Testing with aborted fetal cells is immoral either during the development process or afterward.
3) Again, what happens to the vaccine post development does not morally stain the vaccine. It is “remote” from the properties of the vaccine.
My belief is that they were used in the historic testing chain, so the current product bears their mark. There are other products that do not use that method. You can see that from the chart.
So, do I use a product that benefited from the testing history or do I not?
For me it is a moral question, and I cannot allow myself to ignore the history.
“ There are other products that do not use that method. You can see that from the chart.”
What products? What chart?
