Have a hard time buying Reese Witherspoon’s objection. She produced “Wild”, and IIRC, she herself bought the rights to the book and made the film happen. It was a rather shocking performance from her, and I think she intended to break her girl-next-door image.

TWILIGHT(1998)...Paul Newman plays a private investigator...He searches for a young lady who ran away from her wealthy parents...He finds her in Mexico...He goes into her room...She was topless...Reese Witherspoon played that young lady...

That happened at the beginning of the movie...

It’s well known that Lawrence’s entire career is based on the casting couch, including *willingly* doing Harvey Weinstein for parts, so I consider her protestations a little hollow.

In RED SPARROW, Jennifer Lawrence plays a Russian spy who is supposed to seduce a CIA agent...During training, her character had to show that she could do the job...

For those that say “They didn’t have to do it”: many times, sex scenes weren’t in the scripts they read ,and signed up to do. This is the sleazy Male movie makers deliberately pulling fast ones on them. Odds are, the films are too far into production, so the actress quitting the film over it means they would have to start all over ,and they probably don’t have the budget( They probably guilt the actresses with that, one of many tactics they use to fool women into doing the scenes ).
