North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper announced that he plans for $30 million of the American Rescue Plan funding to be for infrastructure repairs at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Rockingham Speedway and North Wilkesboro Speedway, according to FOX 46 News.
The funds are part of the COVID-19 relief fund that President Joe Biden proposed.
According to the budget plan, each racetrack would receive $10 million each.

I was a Nascar fan before Brian France took the CEO reins, and immediately ruined the sport by politicizing it.
Noosecar deserves to go broke. It’s not surprising that the leftists in Congress are intent on subsidizing, with taxpayer money, little Brian’s WOKE car sanctioning body.

Infrastructure? How are racing speedway infrastructure? How about roads and bridges? The electric grid? Water supply?
NASCAR lost a lot of fans when they dumped’The Rock’ from the schedule.

I couldn’t tell you who won Darlington last week.
Use the money on something useful.
Seems like this money could be better spent elsewhere.

I’d rather have the money go to My County Sheriff Department and the Local Police Department’s that keep the char-meck and gaston county gang thugs out of My Town and County.
In the last month Our LEO’s have had 4-5 high speed chases ending with the arrest of the perp scumbags.
The latest one almost made it back to hoodland (25+ miles south) but just before stop sticks they ran out of gas...
