Missouri Senate lawmakers dropped language from legislation that would have created “Rush Limbaugh Day” in the late conservative radio talk show legend’s home state, according to a report.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports:
The day was to be celebrated on Jan. 12 each year — Limbaugh’s birthday. Democrats, frequently targets of Limbaugh’s commentary, strongly opposed honoring the Cape Girardeau native, citing what they said was his long record of racist, misogynistic and homophobic comments. […] House Republicans approved “Rush Limbaugh Day” this month immediately after rejecting “Walter Cronkite Day,” for the St. Joseph-born journalist who hosted the “CBS Evening News.”
Missouri lawmakers voted for the creation of “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day,” “Random Acts of Kindness Day,” and “Mark Twain Day.”
The bills will be sent to Missouri Gov. Mike Parson’s (R) desk for approval.

We The People don’t need a government recognition and we certainly don’t need a license to celebrate Rush’s legacy. Every day. On the other hand, would MLK Jr still be lion used without a national holiday? Because I’m pretty sure he’s no longer considered Woke by the Fascist left.

I wouldn’t give their hateful mischaracterizations the time of day. Rush did plenty to expose the racism and sexism of Democrat politicians and entertainers.

You might want to read the article again.
No quotes around those sentiments by the democrats. they are accepted as fact. They shouldn’t even appear.
Just say “because the Democrats are hateful a**holes”.

Well, if you understood standard writing style, you would know that quotes forty words or more are indented, rather than tucked between quote marks.
My guess is you not only didn’t know that, you don’t even know what standard writing style is. It used to be required in college.
