my understanding is that the poorer regions of India were using it with great results from the get go, it was the richer areas that balked on hcq and ivermectin as “beneath” them.
so i guess it’s a form of federalism in India like ours (maybe even derived from our Constitution), where fla and sd made the right choices and ny, nj, wa, made the wrong.
all i can say is thank God for federalism and our founders, because at least some of the people were protected in this way.

We’ve also learned the limitations of state-level policies that allow governors to declare and extend emergency declarations that afford them more or less unlimited power to deprive their respective states’ residents and citizens of their most important individual and collective rights (speech, assembly, religion, medical privacy, on and on and on).
