Just three weeks after adding Ivermectin, Delhi now leads India out of the deadly second surge of the COVID pandemic. Cases that had peaked at 28,395 on April 20 plummeted nearly 80% to just 6,430 on May 15. Deaths peaked May 4, and now they are also down 25%.
On May 10, the Indian State of Goa adopted an even more ambitious policy of preemptive Ivermectin for all adults in the state. The Chief Minister of Goa is Dr. Pramod Sawant, a progressive 49-year-old physician persuaded by science. In particular, he read Dr. Pierre Kory's Dr. Tess Lawrie's and Dr. Andrew Hill's robust meta-analyses. As a direct result, Goa has seen a drop in cases from 3,124 the day after the announcement to 1,314 five days later.
Meanwhile, three other Indian states have followed Goa's lead in adding Ivermectin: Uttarkhand, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. And, as expected, they have seen a drop in new daily cases as well, with Uttar Pradesh down nearly 75% from a peak of 37,944 just four days after they began following the April 20 AIIMS guidance to just 10,505 on May 16.
The tragic story in all this is that the Indian state of Tamil Nadu installed a new leader on May 7, 2021. He suddenly reversed their state's decision to adopt Ivermectin. Readers of my book all know about Peruvian President Sagasti's fateful decision to outlaw Ivermectin. Before taking power, the COVID deaths had dropped 14 fold to almost nothing with Ivermectin use. However after Sagasti was elected, Ivermectin was stopped, and deaths roared back at 13 fold.

I was reluctant to post this, because these threads always seem to go sideways, but it’s such a potentially important topic that I went ahead anyway.
First, thank you for always maintaining an adherence to reason in the face of much provocation.
Second, you have previously stated your opinion that ivermectin is a weak, ineffective therapy at best, so let’s stipulate that is the case by the time a patient gets ill enough to have to see you.
BUT, what is one to make of the findings that Pierre Kory, Tess Lawrie and Andrew Hill? They seem like solid academics and or clinicians, and their advocacy appears to be based on sufficiently good evidence that the risk/reward calculation speaks in favor of the early use of these therapeutics. At least until vaccines are widely available world wide.
What am I missing? That’s not snark, but an honest question.
I hardly tapped danced, I answered directly, please examine your inability to accept someones answer on its face and insist on some agreement with your premise.
I honestly dont think you are missing anything, and I will stipulate that I have an incomplete data set as you indicated because of my practice, I see late stage patients who are critically ill. I have had some teetering on the edge of late phase illness, and used ivermectin before I had anything else. It turned one around, but failed to turn several others around.
I think sincerely that ivermectin is overshadowing monoclonal antibodies as a treatment. I think the focus on ivermectin is to the detriment of all other possible treatments. So, in the spirit of candor, I will agree that I have a late phase jaded perspective and this may be coloring my judgment from a personal level.
I think there is probably a prophylaxis component to ivermectin. I do not think it rises to the level of treatment that would vacate EUA of vaccine (safe and efficacious) and I think that there would be a role until such a time as there are directed therapies and wide spread vaccination.
So, I agree with you as to the overall bridge philosophy that you espouse. I think you are correct in a lot of your assessments of the overall picture.

The spike protein gene is a viral gene, and genetic engineering has manipulated it to be expressed in humans by way of these vaccines. GMO humans...
And as far as the nucleoside response that is all generic misdirection that you provided.
The modification to the RNA in the Pfizer vaccine (what nucleosides they are using) is undisclosed. And they can be toxic, remdesivir happen to be effective at a dose that is not toxic.

The fda indicates that the analog nucleosides are being used in Pfizer, but does not lit them as ingredients.

“Each 0.3 mL dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine contains 30 mcg of a nucleoside- modified messenger RNA (modRNA) encoding the viral spike (S) glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2.”

I’m not afraid of the facts that the vaccine is saving thousands of lives. Opposing opinions are fine but they should be supported by more than a video. Where are the peer reviewed, double blind, scientific studies published in credible medical journals?
