That’s going to be a tough race for Rubio, a couple of things going for him are....DeSantis is also running for reelection, that will only increase the turnout, plus Trump made major gains in Dade County with Hispanics and Rubio should be able to keep them.....but he’s going to have to work as the media hype machine will be in overdrive....

Florida long.
Say what you like about Rubio. He bugs me too sometimes. But he has Trump’s endorsement AND he isn’t Val Demings who is as radical as Kamala Harris.
To: srmanuel
Yep. The media will give millions of dollars of in-kind contributions to the Demon Rat party.

I will NEVER vote for a dem in Florida as long as I live here, NEVER. I don't care who is running as a republican, the dem party in this state is as likable as a piranha. Rubio is pro 2A, anti abortion...that is all I need to know. He maybe GOPE- but he managed to smoke out Crist. When he wins, he will probably match up verses DeSantis for the primary for Pres but Desantis will walk over him to victory, unfortunately as we don't want to lose him.

Val has some dirty history. She and her husband Jerry Demings have been wheeling and dealing in Orlando for decades.

You also need to know that he has voted for amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority and wants to do it again.

So then, what is the choice, a full 100% democrap or someone who is 90% on board with my thoughts. Not a difficult choice for me. So, unless you can think of someone better suited for his job than Rubio is and who will win, I don’t care about his downsides. I am done with the 100% purity votes, they killed us in Ga and a few other states. If we have candidates who can pass the 100% test I am 150% behind them, till then, I am not staying home because I have a problem with a position one of my candidates have so I can watch a walk over by some commie.
Until we have the complete levers of this party, we are fighting a two front war. Note the dems have a unified front, they kicked out all their “moderates”. My question is, where did they go??

There has to be somebody in Florida that sides with the citizens and the rule of law.
If we keep re-electing Assistant Democrats, they will keep assisting the Democrats until they have a permanent majority and are no longer needed.

Maybe you missed the last few elections but Florida has been doing quite well for our side. The state offices are pretty replete with decent people as are the Sheriffs. Our courts have moved righter for some time reflecting the appointments.
That does not say there are areas here that are just too stupid to help. Broward County is a lost cause IMO.
What has happened here state wise in the last state elections were two decent GOP candidates ran against each other for the powerful state ag position and a damn lefty dem won as our side split.
