I got my 2nd shot last Thursday, so I am technically not yet "fully vaccinated." But my Beltway Bandit Corporate Overlords and my supported agency have lifted mask and (anti)social distancing rules for those who are. Out of a sense of honor, I will not fudge on my remaining time wearing my Mask of Obedience.
I swear that the past 96 hours has been like watching the aftermath of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The sheer speed on which so many organizations have turned on a dime makes me despise the CDC and the Mask Tyrants even more.
I would prefer not to believe that the timing is politically driven--but my bitter experience of the past 15 months and the demonstrated corruption and depravity of many of this nation's so-called leaders lead me to believe that, "yes, this is timed to get President Asterisk some happy headlines."

Been doing a lot of hiking and working out again in the gym and outdoors in the past few weeks in California. I think ONCE I saw an older lady out for a walk, who was on the other side of a two lane street wearing a mask. And today I saw a gray haired male at the gym wearing one. Have not seen anyone else wearing them in these circumstances—which has been wonderful.
