Trump’s tax returns are probably very complicated. And the tax rules themselves are often unclear, and open to interpretation. So a quote from Stalin’s secret police chief surely applies here:

Trump, as I would imagine, and would expect, took every advantage of the laws. Making certain he paid the least. Why not? Employing many tax lawyers to make sure things were just above board. But then again demoncrats and lawyers ....
