In most circumstances it would be time for a serious ground invasion and eradication/arrest of surviving Hamas leaders. Including low level. The problem being, who runs the place. Israel doesn’t want to. Egypt doesn’t want them any more than Jordan wants the West Bank. That was turned down post 67. Perhaps eliminate the terrorists, leave and let the EU and US establish a successor government, that’s been done before. And they’re, actually us, are the ones with the billions it will require. We could send them a couple congress people too to help run the place. I can even think of some mayors who might like the cash flow.
