Okkkkay..You got your $15,00 an hour but you’re only working 22 hours,,,ENJOY
I’m beginning to think that the unemployment gravy train is a ploy to force some employers to pay more, just to have staff.
Or, we only need half of you because we can automate.
Or, you’re earning even less because you’re in a new tax bracket.
They really would have been smarter to strike for better educational opportunities.
“An 11-year employee at McDonald’s...”
Well, Flato, I think I see your problem (aside from your name).
Here is your $15 an hour. We unfortunately had to make our crap food 40%smaller and raised the price by $2a burger. Soooo we are going to be replacing you with burger bots.. Ba da da da. Lovin it!
I’ve also seen automated cooks. The only thing needed is somebody to ensure a sleeve of frozen hamburger is ready to go.
If they’re worth15 bucks an hour, why exactly do they screw up my order 75% of the time? Seems to me anyone making that amount of errors wold be FIRED, not given a raise.
Their food has sucked for years. And their staff are rude as hell.
And for them to pay more taxes?
Strike and get replaced with flippy and kiosks...
Then Biden can put them on welfare and they’ll never have to work again.
Sure has. I’m not sure why I ever liked that place. Even other fast food places have higher quality food.
Possibly. I argue with a guy over the $15 an hour thing. If they get it, let them pay more taxes and lose their food stamps.
Last I saw McD here in Reno was offering $17.50.
Reggie McBurgerflipper doesn’t deserve $15 an hour for an unskilled job.
“An 11-year employee at McDonald’s, he tells Eater he’s received periodic raises “of a nickel or dime or quarter.” Currently, he makes $11.05 an hour”
If someone is concerned about pay then why work at a McDonald’s for 11 years? Loser.
I live near Flint and took a look at Craigslist jobs. Found nothing less than $17/HR for entry level jobs.

It’s only a little better than 22 hours a week @ $11/hr with a random schedule (full availability is often required) which makes it impossible to get a second job
It’s nearly impossible to get more than say 24 hours a week at most unskilled restaurants and retail outlets
