Friday afternoon, Walmart (WMT) executives sent out a letter to Walmart and Sam's Club stores as well as supply chain facilities encouraging employees to get vaccinated. The letter noted that as of Friday, "vaccinated customers and members are welcome to shop without a mask," while unvaccinated shoppers are asked to keep wearing masks in stores.
Employees who are fully vaccinated will be permitted to work without masks starting May 18, the letter said, adding that some workers may have to continue to wear masks for health or sanitation reasons. The letter added that "masks will also continue to be required by some city and state ordinances, and we will follow those requirements."
At Costco, vaccinated customers can shop without masks in US locations where there are no state or local mask mandates.
"We will allow members and guests who are fully vaccinated to enter Costco without a face mask or face shield," in those areas, the company said in a message posted to its website Friday. "Costco continues to recommend that all members and guests, especially those who are at higher risk, wear a mask or shield." Costco won't require proof that customers have been vaccinated. Instead, the message said, "we ask for members' responsible and respectful cooperation with this revised policy."
All customers will still have to wear face coverings in Costco's pharmacy and other healthcare settings, the company specified. They will also have to wear them if they are in stores in locations where there are mask mandates.
At Trader Joe's, "we encourage customers to follow the guidance of health officials, including, as appropriate, CDC guidelines that advise customers who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks while shopping," the grocery chain said in a statement on its website Friday.

And what type of PROOF is needed that you have or have not been vaccinated?
We’re basically throwing in the towel now. Which is good. Because this mask BS was probably BS all along. Soon enough they’ll drop the pretense about “only vaccinated people” if they even bother asking to begin with. What are you supposed to do with your 4 year old kid? Leave her in the car?
You’re word.
Well that's mighty neighborly of them. Can you imagine the chaos at the front door if they did? I'd pay to watch that.
None.
Costco won’t require proof that customers have been vaccinated. Instead, the message said, “we ask for members’ responsible and respectful cooperation with this revised policy.”
Walmart said they will ask their employees on Tuesday a yes or no question. The customers won’t be asked anything.
So how do they know who’s vaccinated? It’s a HIPPA violation if they want your medical records ie. vaccinate cards. Not that the law exists any more.
And how will they know? HIPAA is supposed to ensure health privacy.
According to the posted article...none.
“I self identify as a fully vaccinated 1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda, and to ask me of anything is a violation of my sisgynderrz and I can sue you into the poor house seventy five times.”
“You don’t have a joooob...Neener-neener-neener!!”
They won’t know and that’s the beauty of it.
So at the door if you want to be truthful say no. Then when inside the store remove the mask because who knows what you said to the person at the door.
And I’m sure it’s not written down. What are they going to do? Walk up to everyone in the store without a mask and say, ‘hey, I gots me a list. What’s your name’.
HIPPA doesn’t apply to “public health emergencies”:

The dam is breaking.
I’ve been vaccinated. Let’s see small pox, measles, polio, flu, and probably a bunch more I can’t remember. Good enough.
I'm not sure it's a violation if the information is freely given. They could say something on the order of, "you don't have to show us your records, but we don't have to let you shop in our store if you won't."
None.
Yet.
Hands up who’s vaccinated ? \o
“And what type of PROOF is needed that you have or have not been vaccinated?”
From the article ...
“Costco won’t require proof that customers have been vaccinated”
Thought people were wearing masks to protect others....
If the “others” are vaccinated, who are the masked protecting
