8 cases could easily be in the effectiveness range of the vaccine, as determined in the trials - i.e. no surprise.
So you have a 15% control group. In that group none of them have contracted Covid.
Of the 85% in the vaccine group, 38% have contracted Covid versus 0% in the control group.
Tell me how is this vaccine “effective”?
