Right-My mom was a lovely and sweet lady up to the very end. Her Alzheimer's was mild and intermittent... But even on a bad day, she was a sweetheart...absolutely pure gold

So was my dad. But I saw so many other residents who had these outbursts, I felt grateful.

Of course, me and my sister (who is now in hospice, I’m afraid) visited every single day. We had a schedule we kept religiously. We never missed a day.

I’ve often wondered if those outbursts came from the residents who were left alone. And there were plenty of them who never had a single visitor, I’m sad to report.
