And what happens if the new hire has medical problems that are proven to be a reaction to the vaccine? I’m pretty sure the company would be civilly liable. Same for companies requiring employees to wear masks all day. If mask wearing is latter proven to cause health problems these companies are going to be sued out of existence and justifiably so.
My company required full vaccination as a requirement for employment. They stated that anyone with negative reactions would not be charged PTO for the illness, and it would be covered under our workers comp policy. I know of at least one employee that quit because he didn’t want the jab.
