Of course. Lithium, rare earth metals. Can we purge the government yet? Where are the Maccabees?
Hey Jennifer Granholm. If you drive an ICE car, then lithium shortages "would not be affecting you, clearly."
*ugly smirk*
Nobody, and I mean NO BODY saw that one coming!
A very cunning plan. Deplete the world lithium supply with “green vehicles” depriving schizos of their meds, causing them to vote Democrat to produce even more “green vehicles.”
That’s nothing compared to the environment and cash costs of mining bitcoins. 😲 WTH?
There will be plenty of Lithium, when the world’s population is half a billion and the economy is primitive agriculture.
But but my utopia of renewable energy!
sounds like someone is talking their book.
American Thinker had an article today about the world will never have enough rare earth metals for the planned green energy future.
www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/05/international_energy_agency_report_shows_that_green_energy_transition_is_a_fantasy_because_of_dependence_on_key_rare_minerals.html
Children and Bipolars suffer most!
The Ghazni Province in Afghanistan has the world’s largest lithium reserves. Maybe pulling our troops out of Afghanistan is a big mistake.
Possible alternative is coming.
Electric cars are toxic Chemical polluters.
And we’re gonna need more of it to refine to Di-Lithium to power that warp drive!
Wait, you mean you have to MINE LITHIUM, COPPER, ZINC, AND COAL in order to make BATTERIES (Graphene is Carbon).
I thought Greta Thunberg crapped batteries after consuming large amounts of organic endive?
YOU STILL HAVE TO RAPE THE EARTH TO GET YOUR GREEN NEW DEAL.
Anything electrical requires minerals.
Two bests hopes for actual green power:
1. Thorium based nuclear - LFTR and they’re improved versions of same tech.
2. Figuring out how to harvest the energy generated from the biggest iron-nickel ball local to us (core of the Earth) rotating under the magnetic field of the magnetosphere generating gobs and gobs of DC power.
But you can’t meter the second method.
You can however have the best golf round of your life in a driving rainstorm and get struck by some of it (RAT FARTS!!!!!)
I wonder if Albemarle and other lithium producers are some of the big money behind all the oil pipeline protests? Monkeywrenching their competition?
Throwing Afghanistan back into civil war would affect prospective lithium supplies, and that could tinker with the value of existing lithium supply.
