Let me see if I understand. In early 2020 there was a Japanese study that found that Covid-19 was primarily transferred in poorly ventilated, confined spaces. Just about a week ago, the CDC declared that Covid-19 was primarily spread airborne and earlier they said that surface disinfection was “heath theater” and should be dropped.
Earlier in the pandemic, they said that washing hands and disinfecting surfaces was critical to flattening the curve. They said that ordinary people should not wear masks as they were needed only for medical professionals.
Now we are about to learn that a disease that under CDC guidance has destroyed the US economy and whose primary mode of transmission is airborne, no longer requires us to wear masks in indoor settings if we are vaccinated?
At what point will the CDC just admit that they have been clueless in their public recommendations and that citizens should use their best judgment (based on real science, not politics) in determining what if any personal protective equipment should be used?
The CDC has proven itself to not be honest nor trustworthy.
Let me think about it.
We got a grocery store here that makes everybody walk in one direction up and down aisles....never mind with a mask. This is a pain because in the first aisle say you go this way. The very next aisle you go the opposite direction.
But if you want to skip an aisle? Say you don’t need soup? If you do it the way they want you have to go down an aisle that stuff you don’t want then go up the next aisle which has which you need. I want to just to straight to the aisle I need but I’d be going in the wrong direction.
One time I had a lady stop me and say, real loud, YOU’RE GOING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.
I went nuts.
I started screaming, getting down on my knees...”PLEASE DON’T CALL THE COPS ON ME!”
I made a scene and the whole store was laughing. The grocery store employees even all clapped for me.
Insert wink here. Didn’t want to bore you to death but just so you know.....I will think about the mask nonsense.
But I do fight back.....

I haven’t worn a mask except for a couple of weeks in April 2020 and I haven’t requested anybody’s permission to breathe freely.
And since HIPAA protects our privacy, it is no one's business if we have the experimental vaccine or not, there are no experimental vaccine passports, so the end result is we can all ditch the masks and social distancing per CDC.
Thank God for Dr. Rand Paul who has pushed back hard publicly on this stupidity.

Don’t get too happy. If the states, feds, businesses on their property and tribes say keep it on, you will be required. The CDC doesn’t control them. But it does open the door to see if the sham is going to be continued by those organizations. It was started by the states, let’s see if it continues.

Wow. I’d find a new place to shop. It’s their store they can do what they want but I’d look for another place.
I failed to mention I complied to store rules until I thought I have complied enough and followed the science which they ignored.
It’s your call but this is not the end…meaning there’s more crap coming our way. Stand against the mob or be ruled by them.

Masks have always been a joke. But they have to "phase it in" to save face.
Someone asked me today for the first time if I was “vaccinated” and I said “yep”.
What I didn’t volunteer is that I’m “vaccinated” against smallpox, mumps and measles. (not covid)
Few seem to specify what type of “vaccinated” you are.

Nah, I’ve already seen their posts all over social media “I don’t ware what the CDC says, I’m still wearing my mask.”
I wonder if this has anything to do with the push back they have had over the last few months saying get the vax, but you still need to social distance, wear a mask, avoid crowds, etc. and lots of people said then what good is the vax if nothing changes?
It was just about two weeks ago where he was on TV talking about how it’s still on safe to go indoors even if you’re vaccinated without a mask, avoid large crowd, don’t go out to eat, that’s still too dangerous.
About a month ago the same person at the CDC who gave vaccinated people permission to takeoff their masks was on TV talking about impending doom and the media lapped it up.
Now in 2 to 4 weeks time they do a complete 180, again, and no one questions them and demands they show the science behind it.
I think it really has something to do with the fact that for the longest time, since January or so, they were saying get the vax. Nothing will change for you. Then they will report in the last week and a half to two weeks has a demand for vaccines plummeted by almost half in most areas.
The people who are terrified got their vaccines, and the rest of us said if I’m gonna get the vaccine but nothing is going to change, what’s the point.
A regional chain grocery store I’ve been playing their Covid PSA announcement over the PA system, telling people to wear masks, fall the stickers on the floor, stayed on the stickers when you check out, avoid other people, etc. They start playing those in February or so.
About a month ago they started them back up in every two songs they play some Covid related PSA tell me to wear a mask, fall the stickers, etc. Even just shopping there it gets aggravating. I can’t imagine the employees we have to listen to that their entire shift.
