They have very strong "gun control".
It is pretty hard to own you own gun in Israel, and to carry it around.
Kind of like California for Carry permits. Much harder than California to own a gun.
Considering that Israel has a draft and mandatory military service for both men and women, and they are well trained in weapons, that’s just ridiculous.
If they did like the Swiss, then the populace at large would be armed and ready to call up in a heartbeat. And any citizen would be able to stop any hostile action at any point in time.
IMO, in our country any vet who does not get a dishonorable discharge or have some other issue on their record, should automatically be granted a carry permit regardless of the state they live in.
They have been trained in the use and care of weapons and if they can be trusted with military grade ones, they can be trusted with civilian ones.
I figured the Israeli government had already disarmed Israelis making ALL the Israeli people sitting ducks.
