THAT is an optimistic outlook... my prediction is well into the high $4 range... even hitting $5 in many areas.

I was a little shocked to see my first gas line in about 40 years yesterday, cars out in the street and stretching for almost a block.

All the little tricks I used to get back and forth to college come back to me now - drafting a semi on the interstate, turning off the engine at traffic lights, etc.

Gas in cali is always over 3.00 some are over 4.00
If you encounter a Democrat or anyone who voted for Biden, tell them that they voted for this.
If they’re upset with increasing gas prices: “You voted for this.”
If they’re concerned with increasing food prices: “You voted for this.”
If they’re uncomfortable with crime going up: “You voted for this.”

Soon we’ll see that thing that happened during the last high gas price period. People will lose thousands of dollars trading in gas guzzlers for econoboxes, only to see gas prices decline again.
Last time, they lost thousands on their trades, saved a few hundred buck on gas, and then wished they hadn’t traded about 4 months later.
That was under George Bush. Oil hit 147 a barrel, and quickly went back down to $27 barrel.
