I like to think of Reagan and Trump as the bookends of the Republican Party, sadly the GOPe is outside of them.

I think that is a fair analogy. Hard to say one was better than the other as both fit in to their time. Reagan had a less chaotic administration as he was a politician with years of experience of how bureauacy work. Trump was more naive in that regard. I think he really believed that the RINOs and demenemy would rally behind him as leader of the country and he got bit by that very badly.

This fight over Trump supporters is a ruse. Everyone has a chance to state the opinion but when the decision is made, we don’t need back stabbing carpers like this bimbo
under the tent, especially not vocally. Ryan hated Trump and did nothing for him but alas he kept his mouth shut publicly, not this one.
