Regardless of the reason a vote is a vote, and a vote from Romney that helps stop the Democrats counts just as much as a vote from Cruz doing the same.
As to what’s in their heads - of course they HATE TRUMP, probably every last one. I don’t care - their feelings for Trump won’t force my family into re-education camps - the VOTES of their opponents for the Democrat agenda will.
So you may choose to put your family in danger because a certain RINO who, like the Democrats, hates Trump, but I suspect that most here will suck up and vote for the RINO, if only to keep their kids out of those camps...and then deal with the RINO later, when the consequences aren’t nearly as bad (as in the next Primary, for example).
Probably an Oregon transplant into Clark County (Vancouver, WA).

You are being played by these RINOs - these pretend Republicans.
All they need to do is vote with the Republicans when it suits them - and that’s good enough for you you’ll give them your support.
Our children will be better protected if we hold our politicians to the promises they make when they run for office - and that’s NOT going to happen if we allow them to pretend to be something they’re not.

There is another kind of Democrat in DC who call themselves “Republicans” - to fool people like you into voting for them.

When we figure out who these Democrats posing as Republicans are, we label them as RINOs to alert people not to be fooled again - but that warning only works if people heed it.
If you are just going to vote for them anyway because the name “Republican” is so compelling - then we are screwed.

Unfortunately, most battles are not fought that way - people pretend to be something they are not. It happens all the time.

McCarthy is by far the most dangerous politician in DC, he and the Turtle, because they ARE GOP, and they’re paid to make it look close, but they are paid to LOSE.

Just yesterday he spoke for everyone when he said nobody questions the legitimacy of Biden’s election. He must have a mouse in his pocket, because he certainly isn’t speaking for me.

If you asked the Jews in 1930s Germany what they preferred, a party that wanted to gas them or a party that would tolerate them, I think you know the answer. If you don’t think the Democrats hate us as much as Hitler hated the Jews, you need to read-up a bit on what they’re saying about us (not just Trump, us Trump supporters).
As to the legitimacy of the election - in my opinion, I cannot state that Trump won, since I don’t see how many votes were added to Biden and/or possibly flipped in his direction. Likewise, I can’t say that Biden won, because a lot of shit went down, all to Biden’s favor, and no one on our side seems interested in investigating it. I don’t expect the GOP to claim that Trump won (at this point), but if they want to get me and most others here off their backs, and be done with Trump, the ONLY WAY to do that is to investigate 2020, fully, and then make damn sure that crap cannot happen again. We’ve been pissed at the crap Democrats get away during elections most of my lifetime and therefore we ARE NOT blindly agreeing with Trump that his election was stolen (it goes back far, far, longer)...and if Cheney and others think that, they need to be replaced - that simple. And yes, that would include McCarthy.
You used the word ‘hate’, which is completely appropriate, and let me underline your point and maybe tweak your metaphor:
I could not agree more that the D’s hate us. However, the GOP is completely indifferent to us, and that goes beyond hate. They have no investment in us at all, emotionally or otherwise. Democrats are psychopaths. The GOP, they’re sociopaths.
Agree on the legitimacy issue. That the GOP doesn’t want to investigate it, that the DOJ won’t investigate it, that the courts won’t grant any evidentiary hearings, doesn’t engender any trust in the Assistant Democrat party.
