I agree. However the “Mask Mandate” gave me the opportunity to
fulfill childhood fantasies. With a smile on my (masked) face, I would raise my shirt up to behind the butt of my gun so it was exposed and walk in. Usually wearing sunglasses.
Childish? Hell Yes.
It's just something gun owners do. You see it constantly: "If it ain't a [fill in the blank], it ain't worth spit!", or "If it's made out of [fill in the blank], dump it in a recycle bin somewhere and get yourself a REAL gun!"
All gun owners have opinions; some of them are actually based on education or experience, but relatively few are what I might call 'universally applicable'...
