The party is divided. Deal with it. Either pick the new, working-class voters Trump has brought into the party, or stick with the old guard, country club, deep staters who are determined to lose with grace consistently. Where does the future lay? The old guard will lose graciously to the future, too. And the future is with the working class that the Democrats have so stupidly abandoned for identity politics, and then called racist and privileged to make sure they stayed alienated. It’s a no-brainer.
