This guy seems to be more of a pseudo-intellectual academic than a military general. Extrapolating from what he’s saying now, he probably would have called for removing all of those involved in the Boston Tea Party, or who supported an American Revolution. Academics is way too often the fusion of hubris and ignorance.
That's why I didn't get real real upset as I am wont to do when I read stuff like this. He sounds more like an Anderson Cooper or Stephanoplus or some wafer thin with a gig at some pseudo military outlet.
