This sounds like someone Obama would have appointed after long consideration.
My guess is that Trump loyalists are more easily found at the US military's "tooth" and Biden/Harris loyalists in the "tail".
People thinking as this retired Brigadier are the ones who need rooted out of the military. Those with this rank or higher are the ones making much of the decisions in the military & as such, they are particularly dangerous. One of the duties of a good Commander-in-Chief would be to to go through the ranks & get rid of these dangerous men & then promote those who are proven to be true to the U.S.A. I believe MR. Trump was on the right path but needed more time to get the job done. The American people made the right decision in an election that was stolen from them.
If you google this guy, he spent his entire career teaching. Not actually doing. He’s just another elitist in academia who happened to wear a uniform.

I did that and it's interesting that he majors in extremis teaching and leadership, which means he probably sees crises everywhere that need his venerable touch to be solved and save lives. I also noted many media accolades for him ....

You are right about Trump running out of time. Bannon said the other day, in a small aside, that the President didn't realize what those in his circle had done to him till several days after the election and called Trump naive. Not a slight, he was being endearing. This makes me believe - heartfully - that when Trump gets back in no one will be safe, and no one will be believed until tested and proven, and he won't hesitate to do what needs to be done - including vacuuming out the bureaucratic ranks of dems and lefties.

.......everyone, Dr. Thomas Kolditz is not a “REAL” general. He obtained “General” status because of a PHD and 3 Master’s degrees. The closest he ever came to anything of a combat nature was that he was instructor of the West Point Parachute team.
On a bumper sticker, the man is an “Academic” not a “Soldier” so his words should not be given the same weight as someone like, say, Chesty Puller.
His wiki page lists him as having spent 12 years teaching at West Point.

Reading this report in Fortune I had a flashback to the scene in Clint Eastwood’s “the enforcer” where in Harry comments upon police theorists policy. Given the number of these asshats in power in our military, I wonder what happens when someone points a missile at us and says hit the deck.
