The House GOP Conference needs someone with "experience flipping districts blue to red," former President Donald Trump said Monday, hailing Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., as the replacement chair for "warmonger" Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo.
"We need someone in leadership who has experience flipping districts from blue to red as we approach the important 2022 midterms, and that's Elise!" Trump wrote in a statement on his Save America PAC website Monday.
"She knows how to win, which is what we need!"

This is the right step in the right direction, but we need another 1,000 steps.
I love it too.
Our real president, Donald J. Trump, has taken a lot of heat over the last four years. But I do think that the man appreciates loyalty. And he’s got a long memory.
As it SHOULD! Many, many Americans are fed up with the GOPe.
“I’m not fine. Elise is a brunette version of Liz. Nope!”
She certainly WAS NOT in the hearings. But if she turns out that way, Trump will get her dumped too.
"In a statement, Stefanik said she agrees with Trump's goal of “securing our border” but she added that “declaring a national emergency that will take funding from our country's military construction projects is the wrong decision.”
Stefanik went on to note that she had been an outspoken critic of President Barack Obama's use of executive orders. “No matter what Party is represented in the White House,” Stefanik wrote, “I will stand up against executive action that circumvents Congress.”
Seems to me her position was similar to that of Rand Paul, who I strongly back on most policies.
Plus President Trump used an EO on this anyways.
She is a NEVER TRUMPER. I do not understand it.
“She is a NEVER TRUMPER. I do not understand it.”
Why would a Never Trumper defend Trump as she did?
“I mean, X is terrible in almost every measure, but at least X is better than Y”, which is how we get people supporting Caitlyn Jenner.
Are you kidding? yes you are! Hardy Har Har!! She is a DNC operative! Not sure what she’s getting in return...maybe a beach house like Bernie!
If we’re talking about Cheney, she’ll be getting a career at CNN.
The notion that promoting Stefanik, the fourth most leftist Republican in the House, is an upgrade strikes me as preposterous. There is virtually no bedrock principled idea she shares with us. Yes, she was an outspoken supporter of Trump, but anytime a “movement” is based solely on support for its leader you are veering dangerously near cult behavior. I am NOT suggesting supporting Trump is necessarily cultish behavior (I supported and voted for him myself), but it is a trait in common. IT is more of a critique of Stefanik who is pro-sodomite, pro-transvestite psychosis, pro-alien invader, pro-tax, pro-spend... Like I said, she is the fourth most liberal Republican in the House.
She has supported Trump less than Cheney. This is a huge mistake.
Cheney has supported Trump more than this woman. A horrible decision when other highly qualified Reps are available.
Shuffling the Bush League Republicans doesn’t really gain us anything.
The GOP will not allow anyone into leadership unless they are committed to the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA), which is the opposite of MAGA.
Good for her. She deserves it!
Milan Rastislav Štefánik (July 21, 1880 – May 4, 1919) was a Slovak politician, diplomat, and astronomer.
During World War I, he served as a General in the French Army and, at the same time, as the Minister of War for Czechoslovakia.
As one of the leading members of the Czechoslovak National Council (i.e. resistance government), he contributed decisively to the cause of Czechoslovak sovereignty, since the status of Czech- and Slovak-populated territories, among others, was in question until shortly before the disintegration of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918.
Štefánik's personal motto was:
"To Believe, To Love, and To Work" (Veriť, milovať, pracovať).
