When the Base Doesn't Know Its Place

A couple of weeks back on Fox News I did a little round-up of the state Easter crackdown across Christendom...

The above was such a hit with viewers that we invited Calgary pastor Artur Pawloski onto the following night's show to give his own account of the pitiful constabulary's shameful invasion of his church....

That too was quite the ratings hit, and made Artur Pawlowski a hero to millions of Americans - and made the Calgary Police an object of total and deserved contempt.

Over the weekend, they decided to do something about it. They waited till Artur had left his church, followed him, and took him down with overwhelming force on the highway. To reprise my frequent observation about the hideous FBI re Mrs Roger Stone, Mrs George Papadopoulos et al, there was not one man among these shock troops willing to say, "Uh, no, thanks. I didn't sign up to take down little old ladies and vicars."

Of course, you might say this is a poor look for the Calgary Police. Last year, you'll recall, the Commissioner of the Victoria Police in Oz conceded, after taking down a pregnant woman or a disabled senior or whatever it was, that they'd "stuffed the optics". Au contraire, I said, the stuffed optics are the point: They want you to see what state power looks like when they decide to come after you. Because that's the quickest way to ensure you get the message.

~All this is happening under the allegedly most conservative premier in Canada, a man I've known for almost thirty years and who was the only federal cabinet minister to lend any real support to me during my free speech battles.

Police are part of the problem, casually enforcing gangster-government’s seizure of your rights.

“Police are part of the problem, casually enforcing gangster-government’s seizure of your rights.”

This is scary stuff.

Conservatives were and for the most part still are staunch supporters of the police, like we were staunch supporters of corporations.

Now corporation have completely turned against us. How long will it be before cops do the same thing?

I’m afraid it’s already starting.

Most cops, I am afraid, will do a they’re told.
Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate them when they are doing the right things, but if they’re told to do the wrong things, they are likely to do it. This includes arresting people for selling ‘loosies’ on the street or seizing firearms from people the State has taken a dislike to.
I really wouldn’t mind seeing the Calgary police stacked like cordwood, though. Suppressing Christian worship is glimpse of the troubles to come.

Don’t doubt for a moment that Biden’s DoD dancing minstrel is looking on and taking notes. It’s a clinic in the benefits of “rooting out extremism” in the ranks.

You should expect that. The Public at Large has been lied to, deluded, and bull shit. The Police are part of the Government. Specifically, the Executive Branch. They enforce the laws that the Legislative Branch enacts. Also they do as their Overlords, the head of the Executive Branch order. The sheep have been conditioned to believe that the sole function of the Police is to protect them. Nothing can be further from the truth. As the Supreme Court has ruled, the Police have no obligation to protect you. Their obligation is to keep Order for the State. Do as their Overlords order. I know. I know! The Nuremburg laws. But who decides if the Nuremburg laws are violated. That is right, those running the State.

There’s a power documentary on netflix, titled ‘Einsatzgruppen: The Nazi Death Squads’. People might be shocked to find out how much of the activities of the nazi murderers was aided and abetted by civilian police in occupied countries. Many of the einsatzgruppen units were led/commanded by German police commanders, who managed to go right back to their former positions to ‘keep order’ post-war.

Police will do what they are told to do. Make no mistake on that point.

“Most cops, I am afraid, will do a they’re told.”

Absolutely right.. and just human nature.

Assume you’re a cop with a family to feed and a mortgage to pay and you want to keep your job and pension, you’re definitely going to do as you’re told - after all it’s just a job.

And it’ll be an easier and safer job. Conservatives won’t put up much of a fight when they get arrested, unlike antifa and BLM.

To a point. At some point, conservatives will push back, and it won’t be pretty.

Mark,

No one on this side of the pond knows what a ‘vicar’ is.

What can I do? In the face of the coming storm, what constructive actions can we take to conserve what works and protect ourselves? Here are a few actionable solutions anyone can adopt at a personal or local level.

Find your tribe. Network, meet in person. Social media can’t censor what you say in private. This also helps you emotionally, since you’re meeting with people who support you instead of mistaking the digital lynch mobs for what matters.

Preserve conservative institutions like churches, schools and clubs. Fight social justice infiltration or pressure to submit to liberal political demands like, “you really need a BLM lecturer in here, you’ll be good if you throw up our political symbols”.
Educate. Teach your kids your values at an early age, by reading stories that share your values. Don’t let the kids go to drag queen story time or social justice story time. Protest if the school or daycare does this, or if you’re not able to do that, take your kid out and discuss the protest with other parents. Abilene Paradox – people wrongly think that the official dictate is what everyone agrees with because no one says anything against it.

Buy books that explain the conservative worldview and defend it like those by Dennis Prager. Buy books that explain why liberals and conservatives are different without demonizing them like Jonathan Haidt’s works. And start book clubs reading these books. Hello, tribe!

Fight any attempt to add social justice to codes of conduct. For example, the National Association of Realtors just implemented a policy where you can be fined or expelled for “hate speech”, public or private. Other organizations have weaker versions of this, but expect it to ramp up.

Law, medicine and social work already have rules regarding this, equating trust and respect and empathy to liberal values - so you can’t get licensed if you don’t agree. Fight this, if you don’t want to be kicked out of professional organizations if you don’t pass the liberal political litmus test.

Hire conservatives, because businesses are firing them. Assist those who have been fired for their beliefs.

2ndvote.com allows you to find conservative and neutral businesses that share your values.
You can even sort by category (restaurants, groceries, hardware, retail) or values (pro-life, 2nd amendment).

Do you like the local or national conservative talk show hosts? Buy the stuff they’re hawking, and especially use the reference or discount codes they provide. This will tell sponsors that this sponsorship is financially important to them. And that helps keep these shows on the air.

Clean your room. Sort yourself out. You can’t fix the world, but you can improve your own life and situation. Read Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University books. Get out of debt. Save up an emergency fund. If Biden’s cronies crash the economy, you’re in a much better situation. And you’re in a Christian group that can be the start of your tribe, or you can arrange classes at your church or with your networking groups to bring everyone closer together.

Encourage Sanctuary Cities/Sanctuary States on any issue you support. Second Amendment sanctuaries already exist. Pro-life Sanctuaries are far fewer but could spread. Support the groups that got these policies passed, and encourage such movements in your area. You may not be able to change federal tax and immigration policy, but you can try to preserve free speech if someone can implement a First Amendment Sanctuary law at a state level.

Use the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) college rankings on free speech to determine the least liberal schools in your area to send your kids to. Homeschool if you can.
