Don’t go with the high estimate.
They didn’t count H1N1 cases or deaths. They stopped COUNTING in 2009 and moved on to estimating through 2009 and 2010 (and now just call it FLU).
With H1N1 they settled on the MIDDLE figure between HIGH wild assed guess and LOW wild assed guess.
Reminds me of something I learned of down under in the land of Oz ... the PDOMA estimate.

This is a very important part in obtaining WAGs and SWAGs... When someone asks you what type of estimate it is you tell them it is a PDOMA estimate...
