People on the ground in India say the real death toll is 25,000-30,000 per day during the second wave.
I think the US deaths were overinflated but Russia/Brazil/Mexico and most other countries are understated.
My brother works directly with health and emergency crews in Mexico. He says they have no idea of the number of dead, and for what reasons.
