“Only for men who allow it.”
The phrase suggests an underlying attitude that, no doubt, has exacerbated the rabid feminist response we see in the world today. True biblical standards remove the notion that it is for men to “allow”/”disallow”, but for God to lead and direct. The more men (and women) humble themselves before God, the greater the chance that we become what He has called us to be.
Compulsion, exerting of an external force, may result in a response, but true obedience to God’s call on one’s life is the result of an Internal Force placed there by God. His plan for men and women is divine and cannot be carried out to its completion apart from His directing Spirit.
I am neither actively practicing my Christianity or even thinking much about it although I can state without reservation that I believe in God.
I am not a scholar of the Bible but seem to recall it says fairly plainly that Woman was made from man and meant to be his partner. The roll of men and women are clearly defined and each has a place in the future of mankind. Men and women are created equally but they were also created differently with each having God given physiological attributes suited for the roll given them by God.
Women are built to bear children and nurture them. Men are created with heavier bones, larger muscles and lungs which suits them as the hunters and protectors of the family as was intended.
It has been this way until about 1970 when suddenly some women decided they weren’t “equal enough” and the women’s lib movement was born. It never really caught on except for lip service from men and a few pop songs. The reason is women are not men and they never will be. They simply cannot do what men can and they never will. How many women do you see turning trans sexual and joining men’s sports teams vs men joining womens teams?
When a man allows a women to dominate him both of them are miserable with the woman losing respect for the man and the man hating himself for allowing it to happen. Women want a strong man and men want a woman who is feminine and knows who she is and is comfortable with that.
