The funds will be used to provide economic relief from the pandemic; help start, stabilize, or grow existing Black businesses by offering consultations and legal guidance; and support African American cultural preservation events. Funds will also be used to establish community hubs that stimulate cultural and business development and provide education and resources in historically African American neighborhoods

Not a Single Penny will go to, or be used for ANY Small Business, 100% of these funds are going to Special Interest Non Profits, Consultants and Lawyers.

A BLM ransom payment? Meanwhile, Asians in S.F. are likely NOT loving the reduction in police spending.

The 3.5 million is only part of the $122million that has been diverted.

Besides gross misappropriation of federal tax dollars, why are they giving ngo’s control of the funds to disburse to their favored? Which we have seen over and over is a consistent problem as money goes down the rabbit hole never to be accounted for.

Blacks account for 6% or less of the SF population; Asians comprise 34% and have always been a majority. Asians don’t shop black businesses because they are very, um, communal, and have supported their own for a century or more. Is the govt of SF trying to displace the Asian communities and invite more conflict?

Below is a listing of black owned businesses put out by the city itself. Very few need tens of millions of ‘investment’ that aren’t already accessible through at least half a dozen city grant and tax preference programs, and untold existing federal programs:
