Back in the 80s I had a house with a heat pump.
Bad news, unreliable and expensive to run.
Not to mention blowing so much cool air in the winter, barely above the setting temp, then the resistance kicks in and the meter spins like a top.

That's a big part of the grid failure in TX in Feb. and coming soon to everywhere else.
