Just take a look at the map. Ascendant, overpopulated China can't help licking its chops over sparsely populated Australia, with all those strategic and natural resources, just down to Pacific, practically next door.

And now that China has succeeded in placing its puppet in the US Presidency and has recruited most of Washington, including the Supreme Court, to do its bidding, Australia's position is becoming more and more precarious.
