Yup. We almost lost that one. And so many worked their heineys off for Ron, too.
Part of it was, imo, Ron is a non-politician, who despises glad-handing and self promotion. And wasn’t fully comfortable public speaking. (His numerous “umms” when speaking were noticable). I know him; he was my congress critter and an approchable guy. He’s not a Student Council type perma smile kiss the babies guy.
But he’s grown lots, and now has found his stride. He’s just really getting started. And FL is an even more wonderful place to live because of him.
I’d hate to lose him to a POTuS run.

(On a side note, Ron was a Founding Member of The House Freedom Caucus, a major thorn in the side of Mitch and Paul Ryan. Many freepers here trashed him and the Caucus at the time. Because, stupidity.)
Don’t forget that Matt Gaetz played a big role in highlighting the attempted fraud that was going on in that election. That’s probably why they are trying to frame him with the phony sex crime accusation.

This is how the Soviet Union made everyone forget who Kruchev was, and almost as fast. Only difference is nobody blamed the Soviet Union’s problems on Kruchev, because that would be admitting the Soviet Union had problems.

Really? Did he also facilitate the vaccine at warp speed? Did he overturn the Republican establishment and reshape the base of the Republican Party? Did he make the country alert to the existential threat of China? Did he reshape American economic and trade policy?
I believe Gillum had a few votes that is illegal... Heard a few precincts in the Democratic areas (Tallahassee, Ft. Lauderdale areas) had 100% votes for Gillum...

One can make an argument that DeSantis made the best move in the country for Trump when he cleaned up the election mess known as “Floriduh”
I would submit that Biden would have won Florida handily had DeSantis not threatened investigations. Look no further than Georgia....
