This seat is now empty (TX-6), and (obviously) will be won by a republican - probably the more conservative (Trump-endorsed) republican).
Now, the arithmetic: How many seats does that give Nancy to remain as Speaker of the Mob (er, House)? I “think” that reduces her margin to a 2 vote dictatorship by the democrats, but I am not sure if the “minority party” can “force” a vote for a new speaker just based on the number of each party. That is, a “session” is re-started each two years, and the “Speaker” is elected for the entire session, not “for as long as the House accepts her leadership.”
Why would you want Pelousy gone - she’ll single-handedly lose her majority in 2022 just like she did in 2010. She and Schmuck Schumer will be the ultimate midterm campaign assets for the Stupid Party.
