Oh, puke! Calling politicians public servants is a joke. They get rich off of taxpayers, retire with benefits we can only dream of, and then expect to be lauded for their sacrifice and service.
As Mencken said about politicians, “These men, in point of fact, are seldom if ever moved by anything rationally describable as public spirit; there is actually no more public spirit among them than among so many burglars or street-walkers. Their purpose, first, last and all the time, is to promote their private advantage, and to that end, and that end alone, they exercise all the vast powers that are in their hands.”
Name one legitimate thing Mitt Romney has done as a senator that served his state or country. Just one.
The only thing Romney has done is to embarrass himself by ranting and trash talking against Trump and promoting himself as the savior of the now defunct GOP establishment party.
He has alienated his constituency by incorrectly assuming that he and Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski and Liz Cheney and Ben Sasse and others, are the future of the GOP. NOT.
Romney has replaced John McCain as the backstabber-in-chief of those in his own party.
