To the contrary. I prefer winning over losing. Winning takes strength, resolve, determination, and a willingness to fight. I just don’t ever see any of those qualities in the GOP — unless you want to count their resistance against Trump as “fighting”.
I fail to see how people believe that weakness and appeasement will ever produce positive results.
Question for you: If a new party should arise that is dedicated to fighting for conservative ideals and values would you join it or continue to support the GOP?

While talk radio is great a stimulating discussion of conservative issues it often operates under the false assumption that the GOP is “our party” and presumes that it will effectuate desired changes. Yet there is little evidence to support that.

In spite of you trying your best to inmply about me. I support principles over party. However I am also realistic. We are not a parliamentary system ! (Party names are irrelevant !) The Founding Fathers recognized that parties, factions they called them was as much a product of human nature as anything else. You’re not going to eliminate them. They designed a system that minimizes the number of “factions”. That minimal number is two, otherwise it would be a one party state like say North Korea.The Founder’s system forces over time all political conflict down to two parties. Those two parties fight over one issue “The amount of central government in society”. There have been other political parties over our history, usually built around one issue. If you looked deeply at that “issue” it was still about how much central government intevention to allow. If the “issue” was worthwhile one of the major parties absorbed it. If the minor party survives its main “issue” being absorbed, the party fades off into irrelevancy if not total obscurity. The GOP was an “other” party”, it had the good fortune to remain standing when the Whig’s collapsed. Their collapse was due to their inability to bridge the issue of slavery. It was an issue that could no longer be “papered” over. That was a unique time and a unique event. If you look at history at one time the Democrats were the party of minimal central government role & the Republicans were the party of a more dominant role for the central government. That has clearly switched.
Forming an “other” party today is especially problematic. Not only are you tilting agaisnt a system that discourages the long term sucess of such an action there are local (state) legal barriers against you. Yes they were put in place to discourage “minor” parties but they are there. They will cost time and money to over come ! Money will be easier to find then additional “time”. Time will play into the “super-centralizers” - the current Rat party hands. Fragment ourselves over “whose more pure then who “ will lead to Bolshevik-Rat victory, then this Founding Father/Constitution thing will become an historical footnote remembered by few. Same thing happened in Russia in between the fall of the Imperial system and the rise of Bolshvism. The opposition to Lenin’s Bolsheviks were too fragmented to fight them, the Leninists were united and bolder, and they won. Trump clearly sees that forming a third\”other party” is a losing play. That’s why he’s agaisnt it.
All the people - the RINOs that inspired this thread are old and mostly has beens - Collins OLD !, Murkowski OLD !, Romney OLD ! even McConnell OLD ! All soon to be gone ! The raw RINO numbers compared to the rank-and-file numbers are very small. Use those numbers to take over the party from the ground up. Yes there will be set backs here and there but numbers are on our side. Easier to take over a going concern then form one from the groud up ! And past history is not against you!
If we don’t do this we have no one to blame but ourselves. Constitutional government as envisioned by the Founding Fathers will be permenatly gone !

Therein lies a fundamental flaw in your argument. The GOP doesn’t really fight over anything, much less work to contain the growing and overbearing reach of the federal behemoth that is threatening to destroy our liberties and way of life. What has the GOP done to meaningfully shrink the size and power of government? The truth is they don’t.
As I pointed out it’s very revealing that the one rare exception to the GOP’s willingness to “fight” is it’s four year resistance of Donald Trump and the agenda supported by his 62+ million voters in 2016.
Thank you for your reply but I couldn’t help noticing that your lengthy response did not directly answer my question. So I’ll assume that you’re a ‘No’. I could be wrong but I think that if such a new conservative party should arise it would quickly replace the GOP thereby returning the country right back to a two party system. Bear in mind there are potentially 75 million voters who could join it. A good portion of them would be happy to see the demise of gutless party that stood for nothing, had no core convictions, and routinely stabbed its voters in the back.
You got to go to the precincts, county and state meetings to replace them.
The fence around the Capitol should be octagon shaped.
