Mississippi became more diverse during the past decade, but it is also one of only three states that lost population, according to 2020 Census numbers released Monday.
The population loss was not large enough to cost Mississippi a congressional seat this time. The state dropped from five U.S. House seats to four after the 2000 Census because other states grew faster. It will remain at four seats after the 2020 Census.

The Census numbers show that, from 2010 to 2019, Mississippi gained nearly 20,000 Black residents, about 16,700 Hispanic residents and about 4,500 Asian residents. The number of people who identify themselves as being of two or more races increased by about 11,200.
Mississippi lost about 48,400 white residents during the decade.

Did whites “leave” or just die off?

Good question. If that many whites did leave, it’s white flight on a grand scale. As animosity and violence towards whites increase, will whites start to huddle together for protection?

Happening all over the world. After WWII whites were 35% of worlds population, now we are down to 7-8%.
Africas population is supposed to triple by 2100. They will take over all of Western and eastern Europe through migration. They will not be stopped.
Not your fault, but the headline supplied says “shrunk.”
The past tense of shrink is shrank. Unless used as “has shrunk.” Or “will have shrunk.”
The past tense of sink is sank, or “has sunk” if applicable.
That, along with misuse of “regards” for “regard” is aggravating. “In regard to the earlier statement” but “Give my regards to Broadway” or “Best regards to your mom.”
I won’t apologize for trying to get it right and trying to preserve our English language.

I believe whites will move further North into Canada and the frozen country.
The rest of whites will have been assimilated in the US by hispanics.
Not sure about whites in Europe. Maybe move into Russia
Not really a “great replacement” when Mississippi was a majority black state up until the 1930s and the Great Migration.
Statistics show blacks receive the overwhelmingly majority of abortions in Mississippi, and the GOP makes it harder and harder on them to get them, so eventually that will catch up to them.

If we do, they (um, you know..) will use the rezoning, section 8, resettlement to make sure to dilute us.
That’s what it’s about. They want to dismember any concentrated white nation or area as quickly as possible.

Easy rhyme to remember. Past tense and past participles are difficult for many. The most abused are irregular verbs. The one heard often and is really grating: “We had went to the store.” “Gone”, damnit! You hear/read otherwise educated people saying this and crap like “between you and I” or for “you and I”. I know language evolves, but it’s annoying.
Who determined that plural nouns need an apostrophe before the s? This is so ridiculous that it makes me wonder what kind of education the writer received.

Wonder no more about education in America when there are college graduates who are basically illiterate.
In 20 years Mississippi dropped from 63% white to 57% white.
Will there be a tipping point where whites will be in the minority? When that happens will the state have permanent Democratic majority?
If that happens, there will be 2 more Democrat senators for life. That is the plan in Georgia and Texas, too. Good bye to our republic.
Soon it will be a whole state where nobody can do math or get an ID
