“And my question to you - Why support Cops? They are instruments of the corrupt RATs in all big cities.”

Not that it makes any difference, but I am offended by your post. I was a 30 year LEO albeit in a community of around 65,000 not including all those who came through our jurisdiction each and every day. That totaled around a quarter million. We did our jobs to the best of our ability. We didn’t care who you were were or your station in life. The law was what it was. I am proud of my vocation and those I served with.

You’re continuing to attempt to dominate this thread. Maybe that’s the only time you get listened to. I remember when someone criticized you and you pouted for a week and stayed off the thread. That wasn’t long enough.

What’s going on? Did I miss a mix up? Are you in a battle?

If so, take it to to a private message.

If not, please forgive me.

Thank you AB

She is a jealous witch.

I am not doing anything wrong.

Why can’t she be blocked?

And what are the rest of you? Republicans?

Can’t some of you take a stand piblically?

Not for me, necessarily, but lesson to be learned here, if we allow people to jump on a thread and humiliate another poster but for no reason but her jealousy...they will do it to YOU?

That’s my real life lesson.

I remind about the scroll key most keyboards have.

If it’s too difficult to use the scroll key due to uncontrollable jealousy, send me a private message telling what problems you have with my column.

I will not answer this post or the original again.

Watch how ugly jealousy can make one.

Great video really good these guys the lawyer and the other guy think that if they tell people that ivermection works the word will get around and to a certain extent it is. Especially in South America.

Here it can work and does but if there isn't enough money in it big pharma and the doctors that are owned by them won't go near it and will acutually ban it if necessary. Unless there is big money, sad but true. Not everywhere but in many corners of the country.

I agree.

We have been fooled. If I were to write a book about it, I’d call it “You don’t need tanks”.

They waged war on us and continue to do so.

Neither political party represents us.

Don’t tell anybody I said this.

I LOVE your column, Pat!

It adds so much to the thread.

As I say on the Sunday Bray post disclaimer, the opinions are Bray’s, and while I do not always agree, I very much support his and YOUR weekly columns!

We have a lot of work to do in the Republican party. We have some really good people far better than those on TV all the time like Mitt or Linda or Liz. They are not the republicans you run into in small town USA. We need to get rod of the rinos at the primaries. I know Trump is working on this right now,he knows the difference between a rino and a good Republican he will support the good guys.

An increase in inflation will increase SS costs and debt servicing costs. The dirty little secret is that the Fed is keeping a lid on interest rates to avoid an inevitable huge increase to our budget. They can only keep the lid on so long before inflation explodes it.

Government spending is broken down into three categories: mandatory spending, budgeted at $2.966 trillion; discretionary spending, forecasted to be $1.485 trillion; and interest on the national debt, estimated to be $378 billion. We only receive about $4 trillion in revenue, so the budget deficits are going to be enormous.

Mandatory Spending

Mandatory spending is estimated at $2.966 trillion in FY 2021. This category includes entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment compensation. It also includes welfare programs such as Medicaid.

Social Security will be the biggest expense, budgeted at $1.151 trillion. It's followed by Medicare at $722 billion and Medicaid at $448 billion.

Social Security costs are currently 100% covered by payroll taxes and interest on investments. Until 2010, there was more coming into the Social Security Trust Fund than being paid out. Thanks to its investments, the Trust Fund is still running a surplus.

The Trust Fund’s Board estimates that Social Security's surplus will be depleted by 2034.3 Social Security revenue, from payroll taxes and interest earned, will cover only 79% of the benefits promised to retirees.

Medicare is already underfunded because taxes withheld for the program don't pay for all benefits. Congress must use tax dollars to pay for a portion of it. Medicaid is 100% funded by the general fund, also known as "America's Checkbook." This account is used to finance daily activities and long-term operations of the government.

With 10,000 baby boomers reaching 65 each day until 2030, the costs of the entitlement programs will increase rapidly. The Medicare Trust Fund (HI) will be bankrupt by 2026. An by law, the medicare payroll tax only covers 25% of Part B costs. The other 75% is picked up by the General Fund. The sh*t is about top hit the fan and Biden's huge spending bills will weaken the dollar and result in hyperinflation.

gleeaikin post 120 - Unlike the super rich, my growth was from scrimping and saving, observing neighborhood change, and buying in the right neighborhoods. My first purchase was 1967 for $20,000 on a block where houses now sell for more than a million. Surviving a few criminal incidents was also part of the “fun” and price.

Alas Babylon! - post 107 - Create a trust fund. Put the properties into trust. Make your kids the inheritors, er, managers of the Trust Fund when you die.

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on all of this, but when you set up the trust, make sure the attorney involved AND the tax accountant who will be processing the annual returns for the trust can both explain section 754 of the Internal Revenue Code in plain English, AND that the attorney and accountant can provide pretty much the same explanation.

I've seen and prepared several returns in the last few years (Trust and trust recipients) and can tell you that the scenario you described about the contents of the trust can get very messy, and also allow the siblings to find out how much they like each other.

but I am offended by your post.

PISS OFF - I am offended that you are offended.

I lived in a small town, my neighbor was a SWAT member, a great guy.

When you move to a large jurisdiction, things change. I am willing to bet you were/are part of the local hierarchy.

It is good to be a communist, it is best to be the King. Any you must have been close to the local king
