As more and more people get vaccinated, the virus will be forced to evolve to preferentially infect those populations that are unvaccinated e.g. young people and idiots. I would bet money on that. I would guess that it will become more contagious by gaining a stronger affinity for the ACE2 receptor and, by doing this, it will become more deadly.

Which is a bunch of crap but will be used to blame the unvaccinated for the consequences the vaccinated are suffering.

The virus has no need to mutate in order to infect the unvaccinated, It’s the vaccinated who cause vaccine escape.

The only way for the virus to survive with a largely immune(vaccinated) population is to mutate.

It’s strictly the vaccinated who will be driving the mutations.
